I build with AI, and I'm interested in what it takes to work well with it.

Return Authorship is my public portfolio of that work. I build AI harnesses, try ideas with these tools, and share what I learn at the frontier of AI and human collaboration. The story of how the harness came to be is in the writing, in parts.

The app with the same name is deliberately a no-AI app. That choice came from my experiences building with AI. It is a place to notice what has your attention and choose a direction yourself.

I also make music as Benjamin Lang. The music has its own identity, and it belongs here as part of my portfolio.
